I’ve been trying all day to install Linux on my microSD card to maintain the factory windows install on the internal storage. I get Linux installed seemingly well enough to the microSD via flash drive but it boots to the grub> prompt and never to the desktop.

I’ve tried lubuntu 16.04 and well as the azulle iso for the access plus: https://azulletech.com/topic/install-ubuntu-quantum-device/

I’ve tried installing in “UEFI mode”, disabling secure boot and fast boot in the BIOS…I’m starting to think it’s not possible to boot a linux OS from a mirco SD card with the access 3.

Can anyone confirm or enlighten me?

UPDATE: The Azulle Support team responded – which I must say they’ve been very helpful – and they confirmed that booting from the SD card is not supported for their devices.
