When I boot my new QB (with Windows 10), the ethernet connection fails to work until it is reset manually. This does not happen when I do a warm-boot. Any suggestions on how to either change settings, or find a newer driver that won’t have this problem?
It isn’t “hard” to do the reset, but It’s really a pain to do it each time the power flickers off (a chronic problem here).

I was able to download the driver package and update it, which fixed the problem. It has a “setup” script that installs the driver update(s), and that did the trick. I did try doing a simple, manual update of the driver package, but kept getting the message that it was already the most recent version. Perhaps this was actually a rollback?
Whatever… the update worked, and now I’ll be able to finish setting up this little box for my dear Mother to use for light-duty internet surfing.
