We have received reports about computers performing the Windows Updates and after that it seems that they are not able to power on again. These issues are associated with the updates from Microsoft and we are working with them to find a solution to correct these situations. For the moment, we recommend NOT to update the system. If you want to move to the Anniversary Update, please use this alternative.
Keep in mind that many of these updates are done automatically. We advise to avoid that behavior, in order to stop them, follow theses steps:
Press the Start key and type: “services” (without the quotes).
Click on Services and locate the Windows Update service, right click on it and select Properties
In the Startup Type section chose Disable, after that press Stop and confirm the changes clicking the OK button.

I´m about to receive my Azulle Access Plus with 4gb and want to know if its safe to run Windows Update or if is it better to leave the OS without updates to avoid bricking?

I have the same issue, i.e. a couple of weeks ago there was a Microsoft update and in the morning the power indicator was flashing red. It would not start up, i unplugged it and when I powered it on the unit would still not power on, when I press the power on button it just flashes red. I have read here that this is a common problem, and you mention a restore file, but i can find it or how to use it? Thank you.
