  • Yes, you can connect a USB hub to our Mini PCs. Please consider a powered USB hub for optimal performance.

How can I access the BIOS on my device?

Repeatedly tap the “Del” key as the device powers on.

What size Micro SD card can be used on Azulle Mini PC’s?

The Access, Access LAN, Byte, and Byte Plus Mini PC can take up to 128GB of expandable storage. The Access3, Byte3, and the Inspire PCs can take up to 256GB of storage.

Do your products have a USB port?

Yes, Azulle Mini PCs come with 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. Please review the product’s specifications for more details.

Do your devices have Bluetooth?

Yes, all of our devices are equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 technology.

Do your Mini PCs have a High Definition port?

Yes, all of our Mini PCs have both a High Definition port and a VGA port. However, you will need to purchase a High Definition or VGA cable separately.

Can I install Linux on your PCs?

Yes, all of our devices support Linux, however depending on distribution some drivers may be unavailable.

Can I add a WiFi card to increase signal performance?

No, but you can connect any USB WiFi adapter to our devices.

Are your PCs available with Windows 10 Pro?

All of our PCs come with Windows 10 Pro OS except for the Quantum Access which is currently only available with Windows 10 Home.

What is the cold boot time?

Approximately 5-10 seconds. (With Fastboot)

How much current do the USB ports provide?

They provide 5V/.7A.

Does Azulle Mini PC’s and PC Sticks work when they are not plugged into a High Definition port?

Yes, our devices will remain on, even when they’re not plugged into a display. 

Can I download non app store applications?

Yes, any software compatible with Windows 10 can be installed.

Quantum Access

Can I install Windows 10 64-bit on the Quantum Access?

No, the Quantum Access is not compatible with Windows 64-bit.

Does the Quantum Access support Auto Power?

Yes, find the settings in the BIOS > Advanced > OS/BOM Configuration > Select Auto Power on or Manual Power.

Can I install Linux on the Quantum Access?

Does the Access3 support Auto Power?

Yes, find the settings in the BIOS > Chipset tab > Common Function > Select Auto Power on or Manual Power on.

Can I install Linux on the Access3?

In order to boot into an Ubuntu media installer, change the following settings on the BIOS

BIOS > Chipset > Common Function > OS Selection > Intel Linux

Quantum Byte

What kind of drive does the Quantum Byte have? SSD or eMMc?

The Quantum Byte has an eMMc drive.

How can I speed up the Quantum Byte?

  1. Right click the “Windows” button
  2. Select “Device Manager” from the context menu
  3. Locate network adapters and click on the arrow
  4. Right click Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter
  5. Select “Properties”
  6. Select the “Advanced” tab
  7. On “Antenna Diversity” under value, select “Enable”

You should immediately notice faster Wi-Fi speeds.

Can the Quantum Byte run Windows® XP programs?

It can, however, there may be compatibility issues with programs that are not optimized for Windows 10.

How do I reset my Quantum Byte?

Press the “Windows Key” and “L” to lock your screen. Hold “Shift” and click on the power icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. From there, you will be taken to a blue screen. Select “Troubleshooting”. Proceed to “Reset your PC.” Follow the prompt and the Quantum Byte will reset itself.

What SD card can be used for the Quantum Byte?

Any Standard SD (up to 128GB) is supported by the Quantum Byte.

Can more RAM be added to the Quantum Byte?

Unfortunately, additional RAM cannot be added to the Quantum Byte Mini PCs.

Is the Quantum Byte available with a bigger hard drive?

The Quantum Byte and Byte Plus are only available as 32GB models. However, the Byte3 is available with 32GB or 64GB of storage. 

What is the power supply input and output for the Quantum Byte?

The power supply has a 110V-240V input with a 12V/2A output.

How do I activate Windows?

Troubleshooting Tip #1

There are two reasons for receiving that message. Your timezone may have been incorrect when you first attempted to activate your Quantum Byte. Click on the clock at the bottom right corner, and select “Change Time and Date Settings.” From there, click “Change Time Zone” and ensure you have the correct time zone. Also, make sure you have the correct time. Next, select the internet time tab and click on “Change Settings”. Change the server to “time.nist.gov”  and restart the Quantum Byte. Go to your desktop. Right click the “Windows Start” button at the bottom left corner and select “System” in the context menu. Under “Windows Activation”, select “Activate Windows” and it should automatically update.

 

Troubleshooting Tip #2

Power off your Quantum Byte completely. Turn it on and click and hold “Delete”. Under “System Date” change it to the exact time and date that you have right now. Restart the Quantum Byte. Go to your desktop. Right click the Windows® start button at the bottom left corner and select “system” in the context menu. Under “Windows Activation”, select “Activate Windows” and it should automatically update.

What is the power supply input and output for the Byte Plus?

The power supply has a 110V-240V input with a 12V/2A output.

Can more RAM be added to the Byte Plus?

Unfortunately, additional RAM cannot be added to our Byte Plus Mini PCs.

What SD card can be used on a Byte3?

The Byte3 supports any standard SD up to 256GB.

The power supply has a 110V-240V input with a 12V/2A output.

Is the Byte3 available with larger internal storage?

Byte3 is available with 32GB or 64GB of storage. However, it supports 2.5″ Internal SSD/Hard Drives, and M.2 2280 Drives.

How do I install SSD storage to the Byte3?

1.First unscrew all 4 outer screws and remove backplate

2.Use the scissors to cut the black tape on the connecting cables (note: be careful not to cut the actual cables)

3.Remove film from thermal pad and apply the pad on the backplate (see video for reference)

4.Mount SSD to backplate (see video for reference)

5.Flip the plate over and align the holes

6.In each hole, insert the screws

7.Now, connect Data and Power Cable

8.Mount the backplate to the device and re-insert the 4 screws

How do I setup autorun on the Byte3?

1. First unscrew the 4 outer screws on the device

2. Once unscrewed, remove the backplate

3. See video for reference of where Auto-Run is placed

4. Carefully slide the jumper to the prongs

5.Re-attach backplate and screw again

6.Insert the power adapter into the device to test for proper installation

7. Once inserted the device should automatically start

How do I migrate the OS to the SSD on the Byte3?

1.Download the mini partition tool application.

2.Follow installation instructions.

3.Click on the Migrate OS option.

4.Select the first option if you wish to migrate the OS to another disk.

5.Select the desired destination to migrate it.

6.A window will pop up reminding that all the data on the disk will be destroyed, Click on Yes to proceed.

7.Verify the information and continue to the next step.

8.Finish the process by clicking on apply at the top left corner.

9.Accept changes and restart your system.

10.When the computer restarts it’ll enter the BIOS screen.

11.Select the boot tab and choose the Windows Boot Manager with the name of your disk.

12.Move over to Save changes and Reset.

13.Check the results on your local disk properties.

14.Keep enjoying all the benefits from your Azulle Byte3 Mini PC.

How do I install Ubuntu on the Inspire?

1.Download Ubuntu from ubuntu.com to a USB Drive

2.Insert the USB drive to your Inspire

3.Power up the Inspire

4.Access the bio by repeatedly tab the Delete key on your keyboard

5.Using the directional pad move to the Save and Exit option

6. Find and select your USB name

7. Select “Install Ubuntu”

8. Follow the installation steps

9. At the Installation screen, select “Erase disk and install Ubuntu”

10. Follow steps to create your account

11. Enjoy your Azulle Inspire with Ubuntu software.

Does the Inspire support Auto Power?

Yes, find the setting in the BIOS -> Chipset > PCH-IO Configuration > Select Auto Power On. The device also includes a jumper to enable the function at the hardware level (persists through a dead CMOS battery).

What size Micro SD card can be used on the Inspire?

The Inspire Mini PC can take up to 256 GB of expandable storage.

How do I install RAM to the Inspire?

1.First remove all 4 of the outer screws and remove bottom plate

2.Carefully insert each stick of RAM one at a time (reference video for where RAM will be placed)

3.Insert RAM at a 45 degree angle and simply push down until you hear a clicking sound

4.Repeat the exact same process for the other sticks of RAM

5.If you need to remove the RAM, pull apart the two silver tabs that hold it in place

6.Remount your back plate to the device and re-insert your 4 screws The Inspire units support: SO-DIMM DDR4-2133 (i3,i5,i7) SO-DIMM DDR3L-1866 (Apollo Lake)

How do I install storage to the Inspire?

1.First, unscrew the 4 outer screws and remove the backplate

2 .Locate the where the M2 card will be placed (see video for reference)

3. Remove the screw that holds the slot in place

4.Insert your M2 into the slot

5. Once you insert the M2, simply push down gently

6.Reinsert the screw to secure the M2 card

7.Apply thermal pad to backplate (see video for reference)

8.Re-attach backplate to the device and re-insert the 4 screws

How to install Windows on the Inspire

1. Purchase your ideal Windows license

2.Insert the USB thumb drive that contains the software

3.Power up the Inspire

4.Access the bio by repeatedly tab the Delete key on your keyboard

5.Using the directional pad move to the Save and Exit option

6. Find and select your USB name by pressing Enter on the keyboard

7. Follow the installation steps

8. At the type of installation screen select “Custom: Install Windows only”

9.Select your desired hard drive

10.Enter your product key

11. Follow steps to complete the installation

12. Enjoy your Azulle Inspire with the full capabilities of Windows.

Lynk

How long is the battery life for the Lynk?

The estimated battery life is between 8-10 hours.

How do I install batteries to the Lynk?

1. Remove battery compartment cover by sliding the lock to the right.

2. Insert the 2 AAA batteries in the right position (indicated in the compartment) and place back the battery cover.

3. Make sure to lock, by sliding the lock to the left.

How do I pair up the Lynk remote with my other remotes?

1) In any mode, press AI.Learn button for 5 seconds, the White LED will start flashing, this will set the device into IR learning mode.

2) Chose the button on the Lynk remote that you want to learn the function and press it once. The LED will flash white, faster than before, indicating that the Lynk is ready to learn the IR code from the other remote. At this point, if there is no operation for 10 seconds, it will exit the learning process for this button.

3) Point the head of the Azulle Lynk remote and the head of the remote you want to learn the IR code from directly at each other. (The head being the part of the remote that you usually point at the device you want to control).

4) Choose the button of the function that you want the Azulle Lynk remote to learn and At this time keep the other IR remote close to the Lynk remote (within 7 inches of distance) then press the button several times on the other remote. The LED will keep flashing fast, which means it is learning the IR code of the other remote. When the LED flashes slower, it successfully learned the IR. 5) At this time press the AI learning button once again to take it out of learning mode. In order to use the IR function that you just taught the Lynk remote you must first put the Lynk remote in to IR mode. The IR learning mode will stop on its own if there is no operation for 60 seconds. For example, if you would like to learn a TV’s remote power button for this Lynk remote, on its A.I. Power button. 1. Press the A.I learn button for 5 seconds, the white will flash slowly. 2. Press the A.I. Power button once. The white LED will flash faster than before. 3. Put the TV remote within 7 inches away from Lynk remote. Keep pressing the power button on TV’s remote, the White LED will keep flashing, which means it is learning the IR power button. While it successfully learns the TV power button, it will flash slower. Your Lynk Remote can learn up to 13 different functions. Note: Bluetooth mode is a Radiofrequency mode

How do I use the Back-light feature on the Lynk Remote?

•The Lynk offers a back light on both sides.

•The back light works on one side at a time.

•To activate the back light on the desired side of the remote, simply press the “bulb” button once.

•To efficiently use the keyboard, make sure to hold the remote parallel to the floor.

•The keyboard only works on the R.F (Bluetooth) mode.
