This little gem replaced a Dell Optiplex office desktop. It is truly a tiny silent box, with no fan, and easily outperforms the Dell by a long shot. Slip in a Samsung 500 gig SSD drive, migrate the Win10 Pro from the soldered-on 32 gig storage which holds OS to the Samsung drive using the Azulle-recommended migration utility found on the Partition Wizard site. Migrate just the OS to the Samsung drive. Reboot and go into the BIOS by holding down the escape key and changing the primary boot drive to the Samsung. After booting from the Samsung drive, launch the migration tool which should be a desktop icon (if not found download it again), delete all partitions on the 32gig drive (right click) and then create a new partition which will contain no data. The 32 gig drive must have a partition.
Enjoy all the multitude of ports, connect two displays using the VGA and HDMI ports if needed and welcome to the new powerful form factor!
You will not be disappointed.
That’s it!

Love the Byte 3. Definetly all I wanted. Easy to set up and to use. Gonna start seeing if steam games cam be played on it.

After two days of using this box to its limit and running allot of benchmarks. I can tell you this is the best MiniPC I reviewed in my youtube channel.

I received my byte3 this Saturday. I am very pleased with my purchase. When you pick up the Byte3 it just feels well made. The setup was a piece of cake and it it fast considering the specs. I loaded a full XBMC/KODI build on it and figured I would see how well it would perform under a little bit of a load( I was streaming 4K movies with full DTS Master HD audio) and it didn’t miss a beat. I checked it during the streaming to see if it was getting hot since it is fanless. It barely got warm even after streaming those 4k movies. I have KODI loaded on multiple platforms, libreelec, Rasberry Pi, and a android media box. This unit outperforms them all. I look forward to utilizing this device a lot more
