During the holiday season, shows go on hiatus and Christmas movies flood our screens.  Now that the New Year is finally here, shows are beginning, returning, and ending. But don’t worry, we have the scoop on what’s coming, when they’re coming and which is binge worthy. All you need to do is connect your Byte3 and start streaming.

Gotham

As Gotham enters its downfall into hell, the city is in desperate need of a hero while villains parade around as if the city is their playground. Finally, after 4 seasons fans will witness Bruce Wayne’s final transformation into the famous caped crusader, The Dark Knight.

The Big Bang Theory

Follow the gang of The Big Bang Theory as the series comes to end. We saw Sheldon and Amy finally tie the knot and enjoy life as newlyweds. But other than that, the mid-season finale did not leave any cliffhangers or hints of how the final season will continue. Anything can happen during these final episodes of the show.

The Bachelor

A new year means another year for a chance to fall in love. From getting his heart broken last year on The Bachelorette, Colton Underwood is back and ready to find love on this season of The Bachelor. Watch and see which of the 30 women will steal Colton’s heart.

The Flash

During the first half of season 5, the introduction of Nora West-Allen left many of us confused and wondering why she suddenly appeared. This is Us

This is Us is a family drama that captures the hearts of all its viewers. In its fall finale, viewers were left full of teasers and unanswered questions. But now after seven weeks on hiatus, fans can look forward to what’s to come in the second half of season 3 for the Pearson family.

How to Get Away with Murder

Starting January 17, we can finally go back to saying “Thank God It’s Thursday” because our favorite criminal defense attorney Annaliese Keating is back in action. The final episode of the mid-season finale, we were left with our jaws hanging as we learn the true identity of Gabriel Maddox. But now the question is, what’s his motive?

Grey’s Anatomy

The top-rated medical drama everyone loves is finally returning with a special surprise. Season 15 will have an additional 3 episodes, making it the second longest season in Grey’s Anatomy history. Previews have shown that there is a lot of drama coming. The show will pickup on the aftermath of the windstorm that trapped doctors and patients in the elevators.

Supernatural

The CW’s longest running series will be continuing its 14th season on January 17th. This dark series is about two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps as supernatural hunters. Although not much is known about what will happen in the second half of the season, it has been confirmed that actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return as John Winchester for the show’s 300th episode, “Lebanon”.

Marvel’s The Punisher

The official Twitter account for the series teased a clip showing Castle burning the Presidential Pardon he received with the caption “Back to work. It’s safe to say that in this upcoming season we can expect more action from our favorite anti-hero.

Carmen Sandiego

Many might remember her from the computer game series, but Carmen Sandiego is joining Netflix with her own animated series. The series will look into Carmen’s past to tell who she is and why she became a super thief.

Black Lighting

As we move on to season 2, we watched Jefferson Pierce face new challenges; his daughters developing superpowers and trying to reconcile his relationship with his ex-wife. We can expect the mid-season premiere to continue with Jennifer and Khalil on the run from Tobias Whale.

Kingdom

If you’ve liked Train to Busan, this new international series might jump to the top of your list. Kingdom is a South Korean zombie themed series that will be debuting on Netflix. It is set in an ancient kingdom filled with corruption and famine, a rumor of the king’s death, and a zombie plague. The crown prince must set out on a journey to uncover the truth and save his people.

The Walking Dead

In the mid-season finale, we were left to mourn the death of one character and wondering how the group of survivors will make their escape. But we will be sure to see more of the mysterious killers called The Whisperers. The Whisperers are said to be “more disturbing and terrifying than when the apocalypse first broke out”.

The Umbrella Academy

Created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance lead vocalist), The Umbrella Academy is now going to be on Netflix. The show is about a dysfunctional family of superheroes who come together to solve the mystery of their father’s death, the threat of the apocalypse and more.

The Enemy Within

The Enemy Within is a drama series that follows a former CIA operative, now known as the most notorious traitor in American and serving time in a supermax prison. She is also the only one FBI Agent can turn to help him track down a dangerous and elusive criminal.
